About Ravi Kanth Miriyala
A Chartered Accountant by profession and a teacher by passion, I have dedicated my career to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the world of accounting and finance.
I graduated with a B.Com in 2001 and successfully cleared the CA Final in November 2006. My journey began with PwC, where I completed my articleship, and later expanded my expertise working with Big 4 firms—spending two years with PwC and four years with Deloitte. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in financial reporting, auditing, and advisory services.
Since 2012, I have been in independent practice, offering tailored solutions to clients across diverse industries. Alongside this, I embraced the role of a mentor, teaching CA Intermediate and CA Final students and helping them navigate the challenges of professional exams.
Currently, I am working with Guru & Jana Chartered Accountants, where I lead assignments in Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP, guiding clients through complex accounting frameworks with precision and expertise.
Contributions to Professional Growth
As a regular faculty member for the ICAI’s Ind AS Certification Program, I have delivered sessions on Accounting Standards and Ind AS for numerous professionals and delivered sessions for numerous corporates and at professional bodies. My expertise lies in Financial Reporting, Revenue, Business Combinations, and Leases under Ind AS and IFRS frameworks. These engagements have enabled me to share practical insights and help professionals deepen their understanding of complex standards.
My books are highly regarded among students and professionals, reflecting my passion for simplifying complex topics. I have authored the following books:
